Donovan makes his first appearance in the series in streets of rage 2 as an african american thug. He has one combo consisting two jabs and an uppercut. He is spotted all throughout the game. At times, he will carry a pipe and attempt to hit a player with it. Beware of jump attacks, he is an expert at catching players with his uppercut.
He appears in Streets of Rage 3 as well even more formidable. He has a slighty lean in with his uppercut now making it range longer. Unlike in the original, he can pick up the pipe and use it again. He swings the pipe slighty faster than in Streets of Rage 2. He can also steal your health restorations as well by picking them up.
